Frequently asked questions about our vitamin gummies

Do all flavors contain the same nutrients?

Yes, all flavors differ only in appearance and taste. They contain the same amounts of vitamins, minerals, and omega-3 fatty acids. Therefore, it is not necessary to eat one wowtamins of each flavor every day.

Can wowtamins be taken over an extended period?

Our wowtamins are a nutritional supplement and not a substitute for food, so all nutrients are dosed to cover a maximum of 100% of the daily requirement for children. Certain nutrients, such as fat-soluble vitamins and minerals that could have a negative effect in excessive amounts over a long period, are deliberately dosed at lower levels. If the recommended daily intake is followed, our products can therefore be taken safely even over longer periods.

Do wowtamins need to be taken with food?

No, this is not necessary. Our gummies contain sufficient fat to make the fat-soluble vitamins available to the body as well.

Do the Complete products exceed the recommended daily allowance of the German Nutrition Society (DGE)?

It can always happen that combining Kids Complete with nutrient-rich foods such as fruit, vegetables, fish, or meat results in the recommended daily intake specified by the German Nutrition Society (German Nutrition Society (DGE)) being exceeded for some nutrients. In almost all cases, however, this is not a problem, as the recommendations are merely minimum amounts needed to prevent a deficiency. The levels for optimal nutrition are generally somewhat higher and also vary depending on a person's physical condition or specific needs.

Can the daily amount be taken all at once, or is it better to spread it throughout the day?

In principle, there is nothing against consuming all four wowtamins at once. However, the amount our body can absorb may be limited for individual nutrients such as vitamin B12. Therefore, in some cases, absorption may be slightly improved if the wowtamins are spread across two times during the day.

Can my child under 4 years old take wowtamins?

Dietary supplements in the form of fruity gummies are generally not recommended for children under 4 years of age (caution: choking hazard). The exception is when there is a confirmed need for important vitamins, minerals, and omega-3s, as determined by a doctor or alternative practitioner you trust. The extent of your child's specific nutrient needs depends on your child's general health, age, weight, and eating habits. As a manufacturer of dietary supplements for children, we follow the official recommendations of the German Nutrition Society (DGE). Are you still unsure how to provide your child under 4 with the most important nutrients in the best possible way? We would be happy to advise you personally at: 07771 6340380 (Mon–Fri: 8 a.m.–4 p.m.)

How does the money-back guarantee work?

You have a total of 60 days to try our products together with your child. If the product does not meet your expectations, your child does not like the taste, or you are dissatisfied for any other reason, we will accept all unopened cans as well as one can that has already been opened. Please send the entire order to our warehouse by parcel. Once the shipment has arrived and been processed, we will refund the purchase price for the unopened cans and up to one opened can. We will use the same payment method as for your order. You can find details about the exact process and our warehouse address in our cancellation policy.

How long is the product shelf life? (best-before date)

From the date of purchase, you typically have 9 to 15 months remaining before the best-before date. If the best-before date is ever shorter, we will explicitly point this out.

Are sample packs available?

Unfortunately, we are not yet able to offer sample packs. However, you can always test our products completely risk-free. With our 60-day money-back guarantee, you may use up one can of each product purchased for the first time and receive a full refund if you are not satisfied. Return shipping is also free of charge when purchasing multiple cans.

Does it contain iron?

The Complete products no longer contain iron because iron is an extremely difficult mineral that interacts very strongly and quickly with the fruit gummy, substantially altering its texture. We conducted extensive research in this area and ultimately decided against including iron in the Complete products due to shelf life, texture, and taste. Instead, we offer a separate product containing only iron, which you can find in our shop.

Why are calcium and magnesium not included?

We understand how important magnesium and calcium are. Nevertheless, we have decided against including them for the time being for the following reasons. 1. According to the latest major nutrition studies on German children, magnesium is not generally considered a deficiency nutrient on average; overall, intake is quite good. 2. It is technically very difficult to incorporate meaningful amounts of magnesium and calcium into a fruit gummy. Both are so-called “bulk minerals,” which we need in relatively large quantities every day. Since it is important to us that the finished fruit gummy has a great taste and pleasant texture, we can add only certain amounts of additional raw materials to the overall mixture. Every additional ingredient can quickly affect its properties. This is naturally even more pronounced as the quantities increase.
